RELATIONSHIP THERAPY WITH MARGARITA KOGAN
LCSW

It’s 2:00 am and you’re up, you would try to go back to sleep but know it’s a waste of time. After scrolling some feeds you get up and start on your to-do list.

Regular sleep is a thing of the past.

The stress and pressure of your never ending list weighs on you.

Tension rises in your body as you realize that there are not enough hours in the day to tackle it all. Outsourcing sounds appealing, but you realize not many can produce the level of work that you do.

You have noticed that lately your forgetfulness has increased and you’re feeling on edge, irritable and burnt out.

Other’s have always admired how on point you are;you believe better safe than sorry, not planning is planning to fail. You know you’re your own worst critic, but that’s how you get amazing results.

There’s a fine line between stress and anxiety.

Stress and anxiety are nearly identical, defined by persistent, excessive worries. The main difference is stress goes away in the absence of a stressor, anxiety does not.

Chronic stress can rewire your nervous system to experience daily events as stressful and threatening, creating an internal state of anxiety. Even when the stressor is removed, you continue reacting to daily situations, not responding and having little control over your physiological and emotional responses.

That’s why therapy is so important. Learning to understand the root cause of your stress and anxious responses and changing your relationship with the triggers will help you become more calm. Relaxed and less reactive.

Everyone has anxiety nowadays, why go to therapy?

A trained therapist can help you understand and work with your anxiety so that your symptoms can significantly lessen or dissipate. I am trained to help you understand what kicks up your anxiety, and resolve the root issues, triggers and help you begin making shifts in your life (relationships, dynamics, choices), and internally, in your mind and body (somatically, mindfulness, healing and processing) so you can feel better.

“While anxiety is common and can be helpful in many situations, chronic anxiety has been shown to not only decrease the quality of life but also your life span. Untreated anxiety symptoms take a toll on relationships, productivity, and overall wellbeing.”
